Digital solutions provider that promotes the automotive industry, Impel, raised $104m.
The round was led by Boston-based investment firm Silversmith Capital Partners. It was also backed by existing investor Wavecrest Growth Partners.
The company offers a special platform for manufacturers and dealers to interact with potential customers. The technology is based on the use of data on customer behaviour with the help of artificial intelligence in order to effectively guide the customer through every stage of the sale.
According to Crunchbase, the company has sold a total of $2 billion worth of vehicles since its inception in 2011.
